Prototype: 3 different privately owned beer cars painted and lettered for these breweries: "Dortmunder Actien-Bier", "König-Pilsener" und "Schlegel-Scharpenseel Brauerei AG Bochum". All of the cars were used on the German Federal Railroad (DB).
 
Model: The ends of the cars are different from each other. 1 car has a high-mounted brakeman's stand; the brakeman's stand has been removed on 2 cars. The cars have NEM coupler pockets with close coupler guide mechanisms. Total length over the buffers 30.3 cm / 11-15/16". DC wheel set 6 x 700580.
